Speaker for the 2020 Women’s Equality Centennial Celebration to be announced

The 2020 Women’s Centennial Committee will announce the speaker for the 2020 annual luncheon within a week.

The committee has been working diligently for months to make this a special event to not only commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Women’s Right to Vote but also to build on the work to expand the equal rights for women and to reach out to women and girls in need in our community, tell their stories and train them for stepping up.

On August 26, 1920, Hoosier women won the right to vote. On August 26, 2020, please join us in commemorating the Indiana Women’s Suffrage Centennial at the annual lunch for Women’s Equality Centennial Celebration. We have chosen a guest speaker to help us look to the future to continue the push for equal rights for women and to entice our youth to pursue the careers that will take our community forward.

The luncheon will be from 11:30 to 1 p.m. at the Old National Events Plaza.

The 18th annual Women’s Equality Day Luncheon tickets will be available for sale soon on Eventbrite. Please check back here for a link to purchase.
