YWCA 30th Annual Tribute to Achievement
Jean Denton Brubeck will be the honoree for the 30th annual YWCA of Evansville Tribute of Achievement Award.
The celebration will begin at 5:30 p.m. May 2 (dinner at 6:30 and program at 7:30) at the Evansville Country Club.
The late Jean Brubeck After first worked at the music library at the University of Evansville. She spent the rest of her career in Development at the University of Southern Indiana, the Girl Scouts of Southwestern Indiana, and Signature School. She was a member of the Evansville Country Club, Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority, PEO, Southwestern Indiana Master Gardner Association, Inklings Book Club, and First Presbyterian Church where she served as Elder and Trustee. She was currently the Vice-President of the Willard Library Board of Trustees. She was a past President of the YWCA Board, Junior League of Evansville, Evansville Museum Board, and Past Vice-President of the Association of Junior Leagues International. Jeanie enjoyed reading, gardening, and traveling, having visited all seven continents.
